rathri mazha chummathe kenum chirichum vithumbiyum nirthathe pirupiruthum neeenda mudiyittulachum kuninjirikkunnoru yuvathiyaam bhranthiye pole. I dont know why this just reminded me this beautiful poem of Sugathakumari... Rains are always a poets ecstasy.
Sugathakumari is one of my most favourite Malayalam poets. And, Ratrimazha is, at least for me, amongst her best. The inimitable flow of imagery that conjure up a surrealistic sublime level of poesy is always her master stroke. Thank you for reminding me of the great poet and her haunting lovely poem. And my poem! How does it count before it?
