Malawi, Where Hearts And Nature Reign Supreme Poem by Emmanuel Arunee Mwanza

Malawi, Where Hearts And Nature Reign Supreme

Rating: 5.0

To the world at large, behold Malawi,
A land where breezes dance and freely sway,
Where Lake Malawi mirrors the sky's decree,
In its depths, our borrowed name holds sway.

Small in size, yet with hearts vast and kind,
Big smiles that warm and tenderly shine,
A kindness you should not miss, you'll find,
A gem of a place where spirits entwine.

Read of us, though words can't grasp the whole,
Visit and feel the warmth in our embrace.
In the north, Mzimba's rocky lands unfold,
With a lake at our back, and a river's grace.

Southward, Mulanje's cedars and rocks bold,
Tales of old in whispers softly told.
Our river, Shire, not Sha-ya but Shee-rey,
Flows in rhythm, sharing with neighbors each day.

In the center, plains stretch wide and serene,
Beauty like green lands, a tranquil scene.
Come through, and see what you've not yet seen,
A land where hearts and nature reign supreme.
