(cont.) i guess the topic personality either refers to Gandhi as a personality (like a TV personality) OR to Gandhi's warmth, his forgiving nature, and his diplomatic manner aka 'part of his personality'. though the poem reads like a newspaper article, it IS broken into 'stanzas', so i guess calling it a poem is 'allowed'. ha ha. this is VERY INTERESTING to read. a great man is shown in one of his early days of fame. thanks for sharing. well-written. bri :)
(cont.) here: Mir Alam sternly asked him where they were heading for....i say the word for is not needed and is also improperly used [ my English teacher in high school would say never end a sentence with a preposition; for is a preposition, UNLESS ONE ADDS a u to it! ! ] i DO sometimes end a sentence with a preposition. BUT i remember my teacher's instructions regarding it. :) (cont.)
