I'm curling my tail, flexing my nails...
Look at them gleam in my pretty-purr paws.

Quite stupendous. The last (long) verse was awesome. Thank you. I will bookmark you and be back to read more.
It is marvelous poem mam, I vividly remember my beloved cat who was stolen. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! what a Mah-ve-lous tribute to the Mah-ve-lous Cat. I love it, wonderful from start to finish. I have a Mah-ve-lous Cat also, fabulous write Elysabeth, --Melvina--
... flat-out flippant fun, fun, fun... and as any half-way preceptive / imaginative cat owner can recognize, anthropomorphic magnificence... just so very fine! ! !
What a mah-ve-lous write! Any cat would be proud to own the poetess that penned this one. I love it, elysabeth. Warmest regards, Sandra
It sounds like this is one cat that rules! ! ! Great poem! Hugs, Dee
Very enjoyable. Formidable. Every cat owner will love this. We have a Berman female cat who fits this description a lot. I like your choice of words: elephanormous mouse, Heavens to tuna, and dribbleglop fur. Magnifico. Ben
And you are a Mah-ve-lous story teller....I enjoyed chuckling my way through this even picturing my cat who has some sort of chase thing going on with her tail and insists on drinking my bottled water out of bottle tops.....Your writes could make Victoria Beckham smile and that my dear would be a first, well maybe a second...marci.xo
Don't they ALL think that they're the cat's Meow? I love this furry funny, you really captured the catty attitude, all claws bared. If they were able to speak to us, well... assuming that they WOULD even choose to speak to us, because they certainly do as they please... in this poem is what they'd definitely say. I love 'em. They're the only beings that are loved because they don't listen, and are never expected to. Thanks for the smile! Hugs, Lee
