Madame Butterfly
Flying from first light at dawn
in a beautiful gown
What a marvelous sight
that creature in sunlight
I wish i could be like her
colorful, soft and sweet
for everything on her
looks so complete
And even so the fact
that she will only live
for a short while
her life will be worthwhile
I wish that I could be like her
that fragile creature
in the blue summer sky
That beautiful lady
