This is indeed one of the finest nature poems from the collection of this great poet H.W. Longfellow. The best part of the poem rests upon the beautiful discussion about ups and downs of life in the form of a dialogue between the mountain river and a traveler from the town below. Enjoyed reading it. The conversation between the river and the traveller is meaningful and thought provoking.
