The Mỹ Lai Massacre
Of Nineteen Sixty Eight.
Three U.S. Servicemen led by
Warrant Officer Hugh Thompson
had tried to halt the massacre
and rescue the civilians.
Several U.S. Congressmen
including Mendel Rivers
Chairman of the House-
Armed Services Committee
shunned and denounced
them, as traitors.
Who are the traitors
In stark reality?
Are they lawmakers
or law breakers?
For sure they are hypocrites of highest degree. Once they are done they take us for ride. Thoughtful poem.5***
John Lennon and Yoko Ono had exposed this incident and the others committed by the US government, specifically the CIA. And look what happened to him.
I know! I know! But the muted would definitely find their voice, in His voice, Richard.
When the persons who are elected by us as Law Makers act as Law Breakers, where do we look for law and order?
