People who read your poems also read Carl Sandburg. Mister Sandburg wrote about Abraham Lincoln, The president that freed the slaves. Mister Sandburg also wrote many books about Mister Lincoln's life story. Mister Sandburg like i hailed from Galesburg Illinois. I from Chicago and he from Galesburg. Imagine that-A Gale from Illinois and Sandburg from Galesburg Illinois. Small world yes? Two poets from Illinois. My last name his hometown's name in part. I abhore and detest the treatment of the blacks in the U.S.history books and newspaper headlines. We should take all that hate and those people and properly harness that hateful energy and send them and their hate to Iraq. Let them kill and or die for our freedom and worldly freedom. This was a real great poem by talent supreme of heart and soul. I gave this writ of lit a ten. God bless all poets-MJG.
