Lying On Grasses At Night Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Lying On Grasses At Night

The moon will keep watch on
Me from above the darkening sky
When in the soft lawn of grasses
I will on my back at night lie

I will stare at the stars and the
Falling meteors in the darkness
I will smile at the moon pacing
The night with its shining face

The moon will keep watch on
My lover sitting by the window
Waiting for me to meet and kiss as
Dew drops around me silently grow
