Lullaby To A Growing Child Poem by v.m.saraswathy munuswamy

Lullaby To A Growing Child

Rating: 5.0

Even morning I wake up
and evening I retire to bed
Looking into your cherubic face

Illuminated gentle glow
On your innocent face flow
As you sleep in secured grasp

A day without you
When it starts, in our life
Think of our together days

How could I depart my days
If you are apart from me
Tears to plant soft kisses

My growing child
Learn to live your life
Though my heart cries

Look at the outer world
A clear vision, with perfection
I am like your shadow, a mere reflection! ! !

As my son is growing fast, panic in heart, to pursue his dreams need to fly out of my nest, protection to manage things and see the reality, when my father had that fear of me, I wasn't bothered, but when it comes to me I could feel the real pain, love is love, regardless of age.
