L-ucky lady of the day
O-pens her heart inside;
V-ery fortunate woman
E-njoys the light after eventide.
L-ucky lady of the day
E-dges out her opponent;
N-ight cold chill disappears,
E-vading the warmest moment.

D-ay's lucky lady
O-ffers thanks to the Creator;
M-any a blessing from God
I-s a fruit of her labor.
N-ew dawn has broken,
G-iving brightness to the gray;
O-n the twenty-eighth of June, she's lucky lady of the day.
