Loxion Kulca Poem by Tapiwanaishe Pamacheche

Loxion Kulca

The street is my home
When the songs of Afro jazz lull,
The streets go electro
When the kwaito music grace the airs,
The twist of hands,
The gyration of legs and flying head
The boisterous noise of the pantsula dance.

The loxion kulca defines the African culture,
The definition of us, in the umdobara
And Mathanda kitshini clothes
Embrace our euphoria diverse culture.

Afro hair, combed to perfection,
Africa in its finest
Location culture defining the ghetto.
