SLIPPING KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM UNDER MANY PAGES FOR OTHERS TO READ. This is the gift of poetry. You are offering it to your readers - KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM as you personally conceive them. In an introductory note to his SELECTED POEMS Dylan Thomas wrote, THESE POEMS ARE WRITTEN FOR THE LOVE OF MAN AND IN PRAISE OF GOD, AND I'D BE A DAMN FOOL IF THEY WEREN'T. That's a generous sentiment from the poet and shows gratitude for his gift of creativity as well. I sensed a similar gesture in your poem. Most of the poem is about how you harvest the beauties and benefits of nature and fill your poems with this natural abundance, and then in the last stanza you announce quietly, Here is the world's plenty, take it and enjoy it fully.
