You are the epitome of tolerance and patience,
For long I failed to understand it's essence.

There were moments when
You could sense the feeling behind my tears,
and rushed to calm my fears.

I could see the light of the day,
It is for your enduring pains, which I would always cherish and say.

Your love is unfathomable and priceless,
Which I would ever confess,

You are my best mentor ever having shown me the right path,
So, I promise not to deviate, lest I would incur God's wrath.

Never have I seen you gasping for breath,
Since you always hide your travails somewhere underneath.

For me there is no other,
Who can take the place of my beloved mother.
