Like the cries of a suckling, my heart's yearning,
I cannot deny the feelings, still strong in your swirl,
Our moments crested in my heart's archive,
Your footprints, echoes, and voice beyond compare.
Though our story ages, fading with the clouds,
I cannot deny the torrents it brought.
Among Zanzibar's sands and Ethiopia's dromos,
Captured in Pisa's tower, amid Turin's scent,
Beyond the Ganges, this pace outlives.
How can I forget thee, my beloved?
Our struggles are strong, stronger than our tribes,
We were young and wild, mutating into horns of love
Though we cannot unwrite the life created,
Reason outpaces emotion, and we fade into oblivion,
Like Thanos, in the far corners of our lonely hearts.
