Lovely words to take one back to those wondrous teenage years. Reading this poem I was filled with so many emotions I had felt such a long, long time ago.
Lovely poem that bring back such good memories, the cinema creates such a special place to let go and show affection!
Beautiful Romantic poem..Captured very well. Loved reading it.
Absolutely brilliant stuff! I wonder why this beautiful poem has an average rating of only 5.9 from 22 votes! My dear poet Ken, From me you get ten! From the readers' comments I see that this poem has greatly rekindled the ladies' memories, but not much of the gents'. I remember the movie that I had seen with her: We saw the movie ' Neither The Sea Nor The Sand', On our very first date, all the time holding our hand.
Well Ken I must say this one really made me blush. Two lovers at the movies not even paying the least of attention to the silver screen. They were more or less looking at each other. I remember some of those times. Oops! please don't ask what was the movie all about (smile) . Enjoyed this Ken.
Reminds me of when I was a teenager, thanks for the memories, as Bob Hope used to sing.
Brings back memories Ken - we've all done this haven't we. Great poem.
This has happened to me! (Blush Blush) Lovely poem.... :) And I loved the line For he did say 'I promise we won't be late' Because that's a promise never fulfilled...in case of lovers...: D
