Lover Of My Soul Poem by Charles Karia

Lover Of My Soul

There was a time I heard, but now I know,
Of a places of favour where grace freely flow,
This is where guidance oozes from his presence,
Which is zillion times sweeter than grapes.
Torments melt like wax, cares are forgotten.
Ceaseless comfort and the lover's groan,
Merge with the sweet melody of the psalms,
Confirming the now ripe covenant promises.
Emphasising that Jesus indeed loves my soul,
And my living forever is his cherished goal.

A fine and lofty verse elegantly brought forth with spiritual insight. Thanks for sharing.
