Lovely by Khanyisile Madi

Rating: 2.5

It was so lovely how we
Used to sit, bathed in golden light,
Eyes locked, a silent symphony,
And laughter echoing in the air.
But now we are strangers,
Ships passing in the night,
Holding grudges,
Choked by a heavy silence
Oh, how not so lovely!
