Love With Hope Poem by Edwina Reizer

Love With Hope

I know you were mine one time before.
Was it many years ago?
I remember your eyes. I recall your voice
speaking soft and low.
Out in the night time’s skies above
the memories always arise.
Even when the clouds cover the stars
the remembrance of you never dies.

And so I look forward to future times
when both my hands reach out.
They will be grasped by you my love.
Of this I have no doubt.
For you and I have a rendezvous
with a life beyond this one.
And the completion of what was missing
will finally be done.
