Love That Touches Poem by Gerry Legister

Love That Touches

Love that stands as a firm wall
Gives its warmth luminous spirit.
Will not weigh down to let you fall.
Even in the darkest moods, you inherit.
Restrain pain lay bare and dreary.
The dual occasion gain celebratorily.

Would find yourself sullen and joyless,
But deep mutual affection appreciates.
Love that touches with tender kindness.
The kind of happiness that bliss creates.

To bring that merry rush into a fuller blush.
Your dreams are waiting to be touched.
Filled empty and futile void with so much.
Happier scenes accomplished.
