Love's Remembrance Poem by Julie Smith

Love's Remembrance

Rating: 4.0

My heart was shattered but now it's all fixed
I was feeling broken but got back together
I was feeling awful but never hopeless
I learned a lot and now
You are back

Memories like flashbacks
Not haunting me anymore for being over
But in a bittersweet melody
Floating through my head in the course of an instant, glad it all happened
And the spirits who helped me will all still be here

Forever will I treasure the time when
I was lost but I found
My soulmate with a shared fate
Making me love myself for her sake
I will dedicate my life to her love's remembrance
