Love On Heights Poem by Sanya Zahid

I left the past to get to the new,
For I never thought
My heart will be left in a few
You came along with the morning dew,
The silhouette of your voice surrounded me as if your love was staying in all along
Your colors were left for all that was left for me to see day and night
My eyes saw you,
You were lovingly bright
But then the sun faded the shade you kept me in
Your love was left up on heights,
And the others kept telling me that something wasn’t right
