The sea calls to many people, and inexplicably stirs deep emotions. I sometimes think the sea does have a soul, or at least possesses a power that can't be explained. Great poem.

I loved Lorraine Colon's comment below and completely agree. When I'm near the sea I feel as if it's calling to me in a strange way. It's difficult to express my feelings about it but you did in excellent job of doing so. Beautiful poem!
