Nothing touches
But reaches
To my heart
Your simple art
No, they are not your verses
With so many misses
But the hidden cry and passion
That strives for human relation
It touches my soul
And I try to respond to the call
But alas! I miss a beat
And face an illusion to meet
My eyes remain starved
And observe
That unseen pathetic woe
It simply echoes mind and blows
My imagination has crippled
And misled
To believe what is real
I earnestly miss and feel
I have few more years to live
And leave my fancy to believe
Yes, there is some attraction
Maybe it can be the poetic relation
I shall go down as a poet
And remain quiet
For the songs of human sufferings
I shall have to remain simple as the human being
