Love Me For Who I Am Poem by Emmanuel Joseph Olumakiss

Love Me For Who I Am

Rating: 5.0

Will you love me for whom I am?
Or for the sake of designer wears
And the way I pose

Would you rather pay attention to the beating of my heart?
Or flee with hard currency
Joy that hardly last overnight

What could I trade for your love?
What can deviate my heart from you?
Is it a manner of approach?
Or making a pronouncement of that I've not really get

What can I attach to my worth to be attractive to you?
So my words won't be invalid

Whose antecedent will be more useful?
The one who wants everything instant
Or the one ready to stay when all have gone overnight

If I disturb you not
Who would know the color of my happiness?
