Love Lust Le Poisson De Vie Poem by Giving Man

Love Lust Le Poisson De Vie

What is my love
It is acceptance
If I love you I accept it all
I endure I am curious
People don't know love
Their affection comes with a price.
One called conformity and pleasantries.
Is it love if you never bare burdens the weight of another soul.
Is it love when you cower at the hint of hardship
You jump ship. Seaman with no honor. Is it love when you don't share your existence
Your pain grief and aches
Is it love when you play and pretend
When you rave and depend but not on me, but to another and speak naught to the one you proclaim to love.
For silences kills it all.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A girl, I kinda liked broke up with me. I understand why she did. But her love was not my love. How sad is this world... we say words assuming the other person means the exact same thing but they don't. Every human to exist understands these words in only vague personalised notions
