Love Liberates

Love liberates...amen!
And I found it in the Son
Who said the truth shall set you free
He has love for everyone
The saddest thing in this whole world
And I see it constantly
Is men's neglect of the love of God
Who died on Calvary

Love that surrendered Himself to men
To die on a cruel Cross
For the humiliation that was heaped upon Him
For our gain and to His loss
Not a weakly human being
But God in His Sovereignty
Dismissing the power of death over us
And offering us Eternity!

Love in all its liberating power
Creates a song for a soul set free
For sin which once held us all at bay
Has lost its authority
Jesus said that we would perish
Except that if we would repent
Hallelujah for that loving Saviour
Who'll indwell a soul such bent! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
