Love Is The Essential Oil

Love is the essential oil
To grease the pains of life
It knows the depth's of hurt
The heartbreaks of our strife
It has already made the journey
God knows our every need
The essential oil of His unfailing love
Will tend to our every need

Who walked a more wearisome pathway
Than our Saviour Jesus Christ
Yet still they choose to crucify Him
Who came to give us life
The woman at the well experienced it
As did the Apostle Paul
God's essential oil of love
Has penetrating power for all

The Holy Spirit administers it
For He's with the Father too
When you take a step towards God
His essential oil of love ensues
Love has found its center
It's established and never can spoil
The love of Jesus for us from Calvary
Is surely our Essential oil!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
