Love is not one way this much i believe
It is a thing you must give to receive
You cannot love one to you who is cruel
Lack of compassion to dislike the fuel
Love it can give rise to laughter and tears
And can live a lifetime or die in a few years
That there are many forms of love happens to be true
And if you live without love how sad life is for you
Love is a thing humanity could not exist without
And is an antidote to war there can be little doubt
Those with love in them of others do care
And their surplus of it are always willing to share
Butsome are sadly lacking in love which does seem sad to say
One of the reasons for conflict in the World of today.
