Love is measurable
If you are an adult
it is a clear feeling

whether you get love or not:
do you grow, bloom and share?
It is a clear feeling

whether you give love or not:
do you perform good deeds?
It doesn't have to be personal

Do it for your favourite club
for the city where you live
or for all of humanity -

the attention and care
that you give also feed yourself
Intentions are not enough

nor are romantic fantasies:
imagined love is a sedation
that anaesthetizes your perception

reality is blurred -
even if it is nice, who can do it
day and night for a long time?
