hmm.. this poem inspired me :) .

As you so often do in your wonderful poetry, Fay, you have expressed such a marvellous observation on life and love in this very appealing poem. It is indeed quite true that love causes such intense and deeply felt emotions that are far beyond words. Your poem made me recall a scene I once saw of an elderly couple sitting on a park bench. That sat side by side, holdings hands, and not a word was spoken. They held hands and from the smiles and looks on their faces, I could tell they were deeply in love with each other, so much so that words had become superfluous. Thank you for this beautiful poem, Fay. Carl.
