Love Is A One-Way Street Without A U-Turn Poem by Hebert Logerie

I was always yours but you were never mine
I handed you my heart at the first sight
Oh! I was too fast and so wrong; I was not right
Anyway, I have no regret. Honestly, I feel fine.

Love is about sacrifices, about charities
One gives and expects nothing in return
Perhaps, heartache, headaches and miseries
Love is a one-way street without a U-turn.

I love you forever with all my heart
Our relationship was based on comfort
Everything was about you and the gangs.

Let me empty my soul of sorrows and angst
I always loved you, but you never loved me
Everything was based on status, jobs and money.
