Wow! How beautifully you've illustrated this thing called relationships. The fear of risking, yet braving through and discovering the greatest gift of all...LOVE. Paul, congratulations on Poem Of The Day! Very Well Deserved!

Congratulations for the well deserved poem of the day Paul. I guess fear prevents us from exposing our real feelings. Fear of our feelings not being reciprocal and that it may ruin a good friendship is right up there with not being able to open up to another person due to fear of being hurt or disappointed. An interesting write from start to finish. Thank you Paul.

More than love, it is the intimacy which keeps the love-life keep going. Not only love-life, but every sphere of life. Love may be peripheral but intimacy is the core. But for this line, the poem would have fallen to just another love poem among the lot. Nice to have been selected as the poem of the day.
