Love At First Sight Poem by james watkin

Love At First Sight

How but upon so feeble a gaze
The span of lifetimes we cross!
Above what dropped out of recall
Death-fogged, for each other's loss.

By the rays of which these glancings
In whose light are we spellbound
Panoramic shows, for what obvious
In clouds now drawn back thereround

Hid our twin-born beginnings.
Upblazing, on what outrolled
From the creative heart of Love
Flames of its impulse ensouled.
