Love And Money Poem by Hebert Logerie

I asked her: Where is the love?
She replied: Where is the money?
Love should have nothing to do with money
Love is intangible and money disappears with time
Both are powerful and great, honey
But money cannot buy love that is true and sublime
Love is essential and money is an essential commodity
Money can rot and spoil but love can shock and broil
Where is the love?
Love can fly but it has no wings
I gave her two magnificent rings
I therefore gave her money
Where is the money?
Please stop asking me
Ask the God above
I gave her dignity and love
I therefore gave her precious money
Love is more powerful than money
Money cannot buy true love in reality.
