Love And Compassion Poem by Robert Merrett

Love And Compassion

All that you possess,
or seek to still,
will never satisfy the soul as love does, when love is freely given.

Nor could golden hues
painted on the lips of youthful beauties frame the mouth softer
than words of compassion.
