Lotus In My Heart
Lotus in My Heart
Inside my heart
a lotus flower bloomed
at the dead of night and
It dropped unheard.
Pain was deep and innermost Joy
could not hold it,
The root was flat and the shallow
was the soil.
Your silent walk on the petal was havoc,
after a long year of absence,
andyour soundless departure
did dig a big bang.
My childhood love though unseen
was in the deepest part,
unheard and undelivered by my foolish mind.
A flower bloomed in my heart
with a sudden gush of bygone air,
It took me in its bosom and
nursed me like a spirit of death.
My heart was a citadel and
the Lotus was its idol,
A storm of unknown Pain washed it away
and the flower dropped into naught.
