i lost myself today
i tried to call me
i wouldn't answer
i went to the tallest tree and looked around
but i was no where to be found
i got a bloodhound to track me
but the mutt just stayed
i stood still and listened for my voice
but i couldn't hear myself
but then i heard something else
a heart beat
it went
thump, bump thump, thump, bump thump
and i looked over my shoulder and you where there
and when i came close to you i found that i was there all along
in your heart, where i belong
