This is a poem written on the far side of experience, it is is a mature look at the loves and losses that make up our lives. As such, it has a sadness that inevitably accompanies affairs of the heart. I can imagine a reader saying, I'm not ready for this poem and shutting your book, so to speak. But it tells the truth and eventually the truth will find a way into our minds and instruct the heart. Certain lines affected me deeply like STARDUST OF FORGOTTEN DREAM and SWEET IS MY ILLUSION 'NON-CAGED SOUL' - Beautiful Poem!
May your 'lost love' never be lost! ..................so wonderfully crafted..loved it.
A deep sadness! ! But, hope lies ahead. Thanks for sharing.
