Lost & Forgotten Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Lost & Forgotten

Rating: 5.0

I feel lost and seem forgotten.
Can't remember me at all.
Lost my shine, broke my heart.
Never thought that I would fall.
Lost within a tortured mind
searching for a key
To open dark & twisted thoughts
that mock reality
Don't know where I'm headed.
Anywhere I don't have to feel.
It's easier than losing what you wanted
because it was never real.
Didn't mean to catch those feelings
it was just a good time for me
I let it go too far.
Crushed my spirit, set you free.
When I'm gone will anyone know
I fought as hard as I could?
How much can I take
Before I'm really lost for good?
