Flames like the forges of Hephaestus lept
And then, the children of Pheidippides wept
As Deimos and Phobos upon them swept
-how sneakily and evilly they crept
But children of Ares we'll suffer no pleas
Upon you have set the fearsome Erinyes
Now never again shall you be at your ease!
-so then indeed the coward fleas
But when shall pass this darkening chaos?
Sad, we've become so accustomed to loss!
How long it seems we've waited for sweet Eos!
                            -burn the darkness away Helios!
