Lost And Found Poem by Alfredo Jacques

Lost And Found

I wandered through the
shadows deep.
Where silence stirred, and
dreams would sleep.
A face once known, now blurred
and dim,
A heart adrift, a soul grown
thin.

I lost myself in endless skies,
in whispered truths, in quiet
lies.
The roads I took led far from
home.
Yet in that loss, I learned to
roam.

Through tangled woods and
desert dust.
I broke apart the things I trust,
But in the shards, I found a
light.
A flicker small, but burning
bright.

For losing means to seek anew
To strip away what once you
knew.
And in the hallow, find a voice
that whispers strength, that
offers choice.

I found myself where silence
ends.
In broken paths, healing
bends.
In all I lost, I came to see
the way back home was inside me.
