A powerful sonnet! Many have similar stories of losses to recount..... may not be always a failure in love! But we see our losses outweighing our gains when measured on the balance of life! Riches can be parted with, but sorrowful memories cannot be easily dispensed with!

Beautiful poem. Heartfelt. Beautiful lines.....For ‘riches’ can be acquired but my losses I shall forever hold. Very true said riches can be acquired but the love that made one despair is tough to overcome. Loved reading it.
