Lord You Kept Your Focus

Lord You kept Your focus
For when all was said and done
You still said "Father forgive them"
Thou great and loving One
That we can know the grace of it
For the sinner's that we are
Your love poured out at Calvary
Our True Refiner's fire!

When sin comes around to haunt us
And brings us to those chains
That held us fast in bondage
We can't let them remain
But breaking forth in praises
My God...I've been set free!
I keep my focus kept on Christ
Who kept His focus on me

I relish in that wonderment
I know I am redeemed
And almost have to pinch myself
That's how surreal it seems
That we can become a child of God
By faith in God's dear Son
Yes...saved by grace through faith
May you focus on that One!
