As His children might we then
Not appear lovable?
Silly, but smiled fondly on.
With an un-forsakable
Mercy-searing light. Those tears
Who've seen in such cried
In deepest pits, for self-worth
Felt then shame to hide!
Little angels, upflapping
And failing, yet delight.
Earth-nested, as that kept in
Any parental sight.
