Lora Colon: Poet Comments

i am back 2 years later. nice. i especially like the last stanza. and i like the comment Lora (Lorraine) left below. i'm glad she is (overall) content with her life. bri :)

[two years later}...Oh, Juan, good try! but YOU had " BETTER GO BACK & EDIT....YOUR comment. " attentio" ? " sentex" ? try syntax: " Syntax states the rules for using words, phrases, clauses and punctuation, specifically to form sentences. " [NOT a tax on sin! ] i haven't heard that word in years and i'm glad i have reviewed its meaning; i may use it in poem comments. bri :)

I were near your around...........? maybe near year round? Kassem, you Romeo! i bet you can't catch her! and besides, i think your wife might beat you with a broom! ! And hug you through ocean waves............... a warning: watch out for the sharks! ! ! ~~~^~~~~^~~~ as another fan of Lora, i salute your good taste in poetry and poets! we used to tease one another, but my wife beat ME with a baseball bat! ! ! to MyPoemList. bri :) p.s. i like that you varied the rhyme scheme. i sometimes do that, especially if i'm 'in a bind', but usually i stick with aabb throughout a poem.

Thank you, Kassem. Your poem touches my heart, and I will treasure it always. Please be aware that at times I feel intense emotions, and it is at this time that I write my poems. But there are also times when I am showered with blessings and wonderful moments, as I am now because of your dear poem, and so everything balances out, and my life is one of contentment. Thank you again.

Indeed Lora is a great poet. To make it a better tribute please go back and edit you poem paying special attentio to sentex. I am sure Lora will love it.
