Looking Inside Yourself Poem by Abderrahmane Dakir

Looking Inside Yourself

What have I given to others?
What troubles have I caused others?

We can easily get upset and frustrated,
We also can succumb to pride and greed.

Our relationships with others as a mirror,
In which we can see ourselves clearer.

Those habitual reactions are not skilful,
Cultivating gratitude would be helpful.

Introspection is necessary for our victory,
Self-reflection is one solution for our misery.

Not hurting others along the way,
By being all time fully aware.

Focus well on those questions for lessons,
To be attractive in the eyes of all directions.
