Looking For Deliverance Poem by douglas lewis

Looking For Deliverance

Today I felt old.
First time in my life.
Slow in thoughts
And movement.
Like a grey slug
Rolled in a ball
In a fetal position.
Tight and untouchable.
Back to the womb
And darkness.
