A great Classic from the great Poet Kabir! 5 Stars full. Very insughtful poem
' To One who prays in happiness, how sorrow can come'....very much truthful words....great people are great eternal....no exception St.Kabir too..pranams
valuable note- In vain is the eminence, just like a date tree No shade for travelers, fruit is hard to reach..//
He gives us a delight in every line. Such wisdom and guidance. My favorite verse from one of his poems in the book, 'Kabir The Great Mystic' by Isaac A. Ezekiel, pg.135, at the end of the poem: This is the game - Go to the Master Get the Word and worship the Lord. This leads to salvation, Declares Kabir most emphatically, most emphatically most emphatically! ! ! ! ! ! He reminds me of what Clint Eastwood would be like if he were a Param Sant Sat Guru.
Such depth, simplicity and realisation is rare. His words are lesons for one and all. They have always inspired me since my school days. In fact even now we quote his couplets in typical situations.
A wonderful and powerful poem full of wisdom adorned with compelling images.
