Looking Poem by Ailbhe Eighteen

Looking

A man in the hood
Stripe of white and black hued
I chased him a gaze
My eyes still stopped and amazed
I knew him
He's the mortal Peleus
I am the sea-nymph Thetis.
He's the Boaz who passed by me
The Ruth he prayed for but sees not me
And so all night and day
Rush not I and wait my half's best!
